Formerly for angus, now home to weeds

This is an experiment with a new method, bee's wax collage. I first transferred a photograph onto canvas using acrylic medium. I had hand-colored the image before transferring. Then, I colaged other images around it using bee's wax as the glue. Bee's wax lends a really interesting transparency to the images. Finally I transferred a black and white image of the barn on top, and sealed it with bee's wax. Charcoal was rubbed into some areas to add interest to the surface.
